Sawdust In My Shoes

Sawdust In My Shoes is an old fashioned, big, musical. It was produced in 1982 in Englewood, Colorado, at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. After that production it went through extensive rewriting. It is the story of a young woman who leaves the circus, fearing that her son will follow in his father’s footsteps and die, as his father did, on the trapeze. It is a story about returning home. Mostly it is a story about life—big, beautiful, Circus Life.

Take a look at the libretto and listen to the songs. If you’re interested in producing Sawdust, shoot me an e-mail.
