I tend to stay away from politics and other controversial subjects at my personal blog, Everything Gregg. I don’t want to alienate my friends. It is much easier to exchange ideas with people you are close to in person, where there is give and take in the conversation and if you move too hard over the facial expressions and body language of the people around you can pull you back. On the other hand, I love to write. It is my way of thinking about things. I am a reluctant, disaffected, Republican with strong Libertarian and Contrarian tendencies. I don’t like religion driven politics. I don’t like the politics of one group telling everyone else what to do. That makes me suspicious of politicians of every persuasion.
